God or Mammon

Do you know that God can provide to you if only you will just ask? It is possible to serve for the earthly gain in the Christian life. Mammon is the deceptive face the god of this world has presented to woo men and to hold them captive. Some people in the church of God, would pray and pray because they need, no other reason but money. The question is Why do you need the money? God can do miracles. You don't need to mention how much money you need, these are the people who are serving Mammon. Actually, Mammon would be telling you that you can not make it without money. This is why parents would call their children silly, or not serious if they said they would like to be a teacher when they grow up. The parents would and should be called Mammon worshippers. In fact most parents are worried about the type of school or courses their children are taking, because they want there children to have a lot of money. But our God is God who answers Prayer.  You don't need to ask for money from God, you can just ask for whatever you need from God. We are not saying that you should not have a job, but your motive should be for the Lord, not for any type of gain. In life you don't need anything else than God. He can supply all your needs. Mammon is not only money, but any other gain. Can you turn the bible to John chapter 6 verse 24 to 34. When Jesus saw that the people did not want him they only wanted food, Jesus knew their hearts and told them their true motive for following him, they only wanted the bread he multiplied earlier. If we know that God can perform miracles why worry about gain, just ask him. Seek he first his Kingdom and his righteousness and all the these things shall be added unto you. But don't follow him for gain, but because you want to serve him only.
